Position Overview

The role is designed to assist in the Group's financing initiatives and Asset Liability Management (ALM) through both execution and analytical support. Collaborating closely with finance, credit, and product teams to establish an optimized funding framework for the organization. Responsible for the daily distribution of term mortgage loans across various funding channels.

Conduct daily assessments and prepare all necessary documentation for the execution of interest rate swaps to effectively manage the group's fixed-floating interest rate exposure.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Generate regular monthly, weekly, and ad-hoc reports and analyses to ensure transparency regarding the group's funding status.
  • Oversee the distribution of term mortgage loans across different funding sources.
  • Support the execution, evaluation, and enhancement of the group's hedging strategy.
  • Update and maintain the group's cash-flow models.
  • Compile the monthly report for submission to the Asset and Liability Committee (ALCO).
  • Assist the Director of Funding Solutions in preparing additional funding-related analyses for monthly Board discussions.
  • Conduct ad-hoc funding-related analyses as needed.
  • Prepare quarterly securitization benchmarking analyses (or more frequently during active market periods) to provide insights into the performance of the securitization program.
  • Systematically gather key competitor behaviors and metrics, general securitization statistics, and significant macroeconomic indicators while analyzing public securitization transactions of competitors.
  • Ensure investor marketing materials are current and accurate.
  • Assist in the preparation of due diligence materials for funding partners and rating agencies.
  • Support the review of transaction documentation for new funding initiatives.
  • Compile and maintain transaction summaries for all funding facilities and public securitization transactions.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong analytical capabilities.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficient IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Excel.

Educational Background & Knowledge

  • Robust academic credentials.
  • Aiming to pursue ACA/ACCA/CIMA accounting qualifications or equivalent.
