About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Customer Service Apprentice at Great Western Railway (GWR). As a key member of our customer-facing team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and ensuring our passengers receive the highest level of service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service to passengers on board and at stations
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to resolve customer queries and issues
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of GWR's products and services
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance customer service skills
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive team environment
What We Offer

As a Customer Service Apprentice at GWR, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable work experience, develop your skills and knowledge, and contribute to the success of our business. Requirements
  • Must be over 16 years of age
  • Live within one hour of your chosen location
  • GCSEs (or equivalent level 1 qualification) in Maths and English
  • Excellent communication and team working skills
  • Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and evenings
Training and Development

We are committed to providing our apprentices with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in their roles. You will receive comprehensive training and development programs, including on-the-job training, vocational training, and development sessions. You will also have the opportunity to attain a Passenger Transport Level 2 qualification and participate in the Duke of Edinburgh Business Gold Award.
