The Role

The E-commerce Operations Coordinator will take charge of implementing, managing, and enhancing our web analytics systems and strategies, with a particular emphasis on Magento 2. The successful candidate will possess a robust background in e-commerce analytics, expertise in Google Tag Manager, and the capability to convert data into actionable insights aimed at boosting our online performance.

E-commerce Operations Coordinator Overview

Google Tag Manager Integration: Oversee the implementation and management of Google Tag Manager (GTM) across our digital platforms to guarantee precise tracking and reporting of user interactions and e-commerce metrics.

Data Reporting & Analysis: Create and sustain detailed dashboards and reports utilizing tools such as Google Analytics, Data Studio, and other analytics platforms to evaluate site performance, user behavior, and essential metrics.

E-commerce Optimization: Examine data to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities for enhancing conversion rates, user experience, and overall site efficiency.

Technical Implementation: Collaborate closely with the development team to ensure the accurate and efficient execution of tracking codes, tags, and scripts within Magento 2.

A/B Testing: Design, implement, and assess A/B and multivariate tests to optimize landing pages, product pages, and overall site performance.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work alongside marketing, UX/UI, and product teams to deliver data-driven insights and recommendations for campaign strategies, site enhancements, and new feature developments.

Training & Documentation: Provide training and support to team members on the utilization of analytics tools and best practices. Develop and maintain documentation related to tracking implementations and data analysis processes.

Stay Updated: Remain informed about the latest trends and best practices in e-commerce analytics, Magento 2 updates, and digital marketing.

E-commerce Operations Coordinator Position Requirements

• Proficiency in Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Data Studio, and other relevant analytics tools.

• Experience with SQL and data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.

• Understanding of SEO, SEM, and other digital marketing strategies.

• Proven experience as an E-commerce Analytics Specialist or in a similar capacity, with a strong focus on Magento 2.

• Previous experience working with Magento, Bigcommerce, and Woocommerce or similar e-commerce platforms.

• Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.

• Proficiency in MS Office, with advanced Excel skills being highly desirable.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

• Experience in website migration is preferred.

Compensation: Salary commensurate with experience.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, with standard working hours.

Benefits: 23 days of holiday plus UK bank holidays, pension scheme.
