The Role
The E-commerce Analytics Coordinator will play a pivotal role in the execution, management, and enhancement of our web analytics strategies, particularly within the Magento 2 framework. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in e-commerce analytics, expertise in Google Tag Manager, and the capability to convert data into actionable insights aimed at elevating our online performance.
E-commerce Analytics Coordinator Overview
Google Tag Manager Integration: Oversee the implementation and management of Google Tag Manager (GTM) across our digital platforms to guarantee precise tracking and reporting of user interactions and e-commerce metrics.
Data Reporting & Analysis: Create and sustain detailed dashboards and reports utilizing tools such as Google Analytics, Data Studio, and other analytics platforms to assess site performance, user behavior, and essential metrics.
E-commerce Optimization: Examine data to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities for enhancing conversion rates, user experience, and overall site efficiency.
Technical Implementation: Collaborate closely with the development team to ensure the accurate and efficient application of tracking codes, tags, and scripts within Magento 2.
A/B Testing: Design, execute, and evaluate A/B and multivariate tests to refine landing pages, product pages, and overall site functionality.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work in conjunction with marketing, UX/UI, and product teams to deliver data-driven insights and recommendations for campaign strategies, site enhancements, and new feature developments.
Training & Documentation: Provide training and support to team members regarding the use of analytics tools and best practices. Develop and maintain documentation pertinent to tracking implementations and data analysis methodologies.
Stay Updated: Remain informed about the latest trends and best practices in e-commerce analytics, updates in Magento 2, and digital marketing.
E-commerce Analytics Coordinator Position Requirements
Proficiency in Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Data Studio, and other relevant analytics tools.
Experience with SQL and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
Understanding of SEO, SEM, and various digital marketing strategies.
Demonstrated experience as an E-commerce Analytics Coordinator or a similar role, with a strong emphasis on Magento 2.
Prior experience working with Magento, Bigcommerce, and Woocommerce or comparable e-commerce platforms.
Strong analytical capabilities with meticulous attention to detail.
Proficiency in MS Office, with advanced Excel skills being highly desirable.
Able to work collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Experience in website migration is preferred.
Position Details
Salary commensurate with experience.
Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM / 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM. This is a permanent position.
Benefits include 23 days of holiday plus UK bank holidays and a pension scheme.
