Talent Acquisition Lead – Water & Power Utilities

Compensation: up to £55k base salary, 10% bonus plus equity options

Role Overview:
As the Talent Acquisition Lead, you will oversee the execution of our partnership, driving the recruitment strategy and achieving hiring targets while supporting improvement initiatives as needed.
You will lead your team to meet and exceed established objectives through effective coaching and ongoing feedback. Your focus will be on continuously enhancing the Talent Acquisition function and fostering innovation to deliver exceptional service.
Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership
  • Inspire and Direct: Supervise our Talent Acquisition Partners and coordinate support from our centers of excellence team members.
  • Pursue Excellence: Establish and uphold high performance standards, elevating team output.
  • Encourage Development: Foster the growth and expertise of the team, promoting ongoing learning.
  • Engage with the Community: Actively participate by:
    • Sharing best practices, insights, and partnership outcomes.
    • Leading internal training and coaching sessions.
    • Embodying and promoting our core values and culture.
Service Delivery Management
  • Implement Talent Acquisition Strategy: Creatively execute the TA strategy for new roles, ensuring a swift, effective, and engaging hiring process.
  • Surpass Partnership Objectives: Consistently achieve and exceed all partnership service level agreements (SLAs) and goals, setting new standards for success.
  • Oversee Recruitment Activities: Manage all hiring processes by overseeing agreed volumes of roles with robust technology and Centre of Excellence support.
  • Maintain Quality Assurance: Ensure high-quality outputs from Talent Acquisition Partners and support from the Centre of Excellence.
Partnership Development
  • Create Exceptional Experiences: Deliver a top-tier, memorable experience to all key stakeholders, including hiring managers and candidates, while continuously expanding our influence and impact with clients.
  • Collaborate and Innovate: Partner with the Client Services Director to provide cutting-edge insights and foresight to stakeholders through detailed reports and talent/market intelligence.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Propose innovative ideas to enhance the client's Talent Acquisition function and processes, supporting implementation at every stage.
Qualifications
  • Relationship Builder: Your ability to establish strong connections with clients and stakeholders distinguishes you in the recruitment industry.
  • Experienced Recruiter: You have recently navigated the complexities of in-house or RPO recruitment environments, bringing valuable insights to the role.
  • Utilities Sector Specialist: With significant recruitment experience in the water or power utilities sectors, you thrive in this domain. (This is essential.)
  • End-to-End Recruitment Expert: You manage the recruitment cycle from start to finish with unmatched efficiency, quality, and a commitment to delivering an exceptional experience.
  • Time Management Expert: Your skills in planning, prioritizing, and follow-through ensure smooth and efficient processes.
  • Data-Driven Decision Maker: You are comfortable analyzing data and reports to continuously refine and enhance recruitment strategies.
