Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Night Support Worker to become a vital part of our RBKC Mental Health Service team.

Compensation: £12,428.00 per annum, with a commitment of 20 hours per week. Our benefits package includes 25 days of Annual Leave, pension options, employee discounts, healthcare, and opportunities for career advancement.

Role Responsibilities:

The Night Support Workers play a crucial role in assisting individuals with mental health needs to maintain their independence and manage their living arrangements within the community. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing consistent support services during nighttime hours while ensuring the safety of residents and the facility.
  • Building and nurturing trusting relationships with clients to foster a positive living environment.
  • Collaborating with team members to manage service caseloads and administrative tasks effectively.
  • Conducting engaging key work sessions to help clients achieve their support goals.
  • Assessing and managing risks associated with clients, promoting a culture of 'positive risk-taking.'
  • Offering assistance with daily living tasks, including budgeting, cooking, and establishing routines.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the facility.
  • Documenting incidents and support provided to clients accurately.
  • Developing partnerships with external organizations to enhance service delivery.
  • Adhering to health and safety protocols, including fire safety measures.
  • Leading shifts in the absence of management and ensuring effective communication during handovers.
