We are seeking an experienced Head of Training who will assist in developing, facilitating, and supervising training programs for Circet employees and subcontractors.

As head of the department, you will assess the needs of the business, drive training and development plans, and facilitate a wide variety of training programs that enhance the effectiveness of the workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Determine and assess an organisation's training and employee development needs
  • Create training materials and programs to address specific business objectives
  • Write reports, keep records, and manage training budgets
  • Work with employees, the human resources teams, and management to ensure the achievement of training objectives
  • Monitor and assess the effectiveness and success of training programs
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest training trends, developments, and best practices
  • Identify and implement a wide range of training techniques to improve efficiency and returns on investment
  • Manage employee enrolment for training, schedule training sessions, and organise the resources to facilitate training programs
  • Assess employees' skills, talents, performance, and productivity and assist/prepare written evaluations with advice for improvement

Health & Safety Obligations:

  • Fully understand and implement the company safety policy and procedures
  • Ensure that the programs for the contracts are successfully delivered in a Safe, Quality, and On-Time Manner
  • Help drive compliance to any regulatory measures that may apply to the works and operations that KN undertake
  • Ensure that a 'Right First Time' culture is adopted and developed throughout the business

Knowledge & Skills Requirements:

  • 5+ years' experience in the telecoms or utilities industry
  • 2+ years' experience in training
  • Experience designing and implementing curricula preferred
  • Excellent team building, organisation, and leadership skills
