Head of Apprenticeships and Training

We are seeking an experienced Head of Apprenticeships and Training to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing, facilitating, and supervising training programs for our employees and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities- Determine and assess the training and employee development needs of our organization.
- Create training materials and programs to address specific business objectives.
- Write reports, keep records, and manage training budgets.
- Work with employees, human resources teams, and management to ensure the achievement of training objectives.
- Monitor and assess the effectiveness and success of training programs.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest training trends, developments, and best practices.
- Identify and implement a wide range of training techniques to improve efficiency and returns on investment.
- Manage employee enrollment for training, schedule training sessions, and organize resources to facilitate training programs.
- Assess employees' skills, talents, performance, and productivity, and assist in preparing written evaluations with advice for improvement.
- Fully understand and implement the company safety policy and procedures.
- Ensure that training programs are delivered in a safe, quality, and on-time manner.
- Help drive compliance with regulatory measures that apply to our operations.
- Encourage a 'Right First Time' culture throughout the business.
- 5+ years' experience in the telecoms or utilities industry.
- 2+ years' experience in training.
- Experience designing and implementing curricula is preferred.
- Excellent team building, organization, and leadership skills.
