Key Responsibilities:

Preferred candidates should possess experience in working with young individuals and in leadership or managerial capacities, showcasing skills in the following areas:

  • Background in social care, housing, or residential care environments, particularly with children, young people, or vulnerable populations
  • Management and supervisory experience
  • Proven capability to facilitate, organize, and develop teams or initiatives
  • Strong organizational and planning abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A commitment to enhancing the lives of young individuals, especially in challenging circumstances
  • Comprehensive understanding of relevant legislation, safeguarding protocols, and best practices related to children in care and care leavers
  • Familiarity with statutory meetings and reviews for children in care, including health and education
  • Knowledge of the Supported Accommodation Regulations 2023 and associated Quality Standards
