About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Resident Engagement Specialist to join our team at Ark Workplace Risk. As a key member of our Building Safety team, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional resident engagement solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with our team to develop and implement effective resident engagement strategies, including the creation of Safety Case Reports.
  2. Support internal teams and clients with building safety resident engagement and compliance, ensuring seamless delivery of services.
  3. Conduct audits and gap analysis to identify areas for improvement, and provide recommendations for enhanced resident engagement.
  4. Develop close working relationships with our technical team of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure effective collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  5. Oversee and maintain relevant information related to resident engagement, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  6. Deliver expert advice and support on assignments and projects related to resident engagement, providing exceptional customer service.
  7. Participate in resident engagement consultations and create resident engagement strategies on behalf of our clients, ensuring alignment with their needs and goals.
  8. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in fire safety risk management, expanding your knowledge and expertise.
  9. Carry out reasonable requests made by your line manager, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
  10. Attend on-site meetings as necessary, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with clients and stakeholders.
Requirements
  1. Knowledge of the Building Safety Act 2022 and experience in developing resident engagement strategies, with a strong understanding of safety case reports.
  2. More than 3+ years of engagement and communication experience with residents, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional results.
  3. Experience working in residential-based or customer-service environments, with a strong understanding of resident needs and expectations.
  4. Experience with ISO 9001 and safety risk assessments, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance.
  5. Experience in preparing policy and procedures, with a strong understanding of governance and compliance.
  6. Experience in consultation processes (Section 20, major works, refurbishment), with a strong understanding of resident engagement and communication.
  7. Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally, with a strong understanding of customer service principles.
  8. Analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong ability to plan and prioritize work effectively.
  9. Proficient in Microsoft, with a strong understanding of software applications and tools.
  10. Attention to detail, with a strong ability to maintain accuracy and quality in all aspects of work.
What We Offer

We are offering a competitive package of circa £45,000 pa (subject to location, skills, experience, and track record), with opportunities for growth and development within our organization.

The majority of our work is in and around London, however, the role has a national remit, and you will be required to travel outside of London as work dictates, so you must have the flexibility and willingness to travel as required.

The role is physically demanding and will require mobility, and engagement with members on occasion out of hours, with a fast-paced environment delivering various client engagement assignments to deadlines.
