Position Overview

We are seeking a Customer Planning Technician to support our Waste Services Transport Scheduling Team. This role is crucial in maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction through effective service delivery. You will collaborate closely with various operational teams to achieve our service objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Report directly to the Transport Planning Team Leader.
  • Coordinate and schedule septic tank services for both residential and commercial clients, ensuring excellence in customer service.
  • Manage the scheduling of tanker services within designated geographic areas.
  • Engage with external customers to understand their needs and manage their expectations effectively.
  • Collaborate with internal operational leaders to align service delivery with demand requirements.
  • Oversee contractor coordination and data management to support service operations.

Qualifications and Skills

While comprehensive training will be provided, we are looking for candidates who demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and a positive attitude. Key skills include:

  • Strong data management and proficiency in Excel.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Adept at planning and prioritizing tasks while remaining flexible to changing demands.
  • Ability to build trust and rapport with a diverse range of customers.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and collaborate.
  • Proficiency in various software applications.
