Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Lighting Operations Supervisor to oversee our Transportation division. In this role, you will manage your team's performance and conduct while executing their operational responsibilities, which encompass HR, HSEQ, Commercial, and Administrative functions. A valid UK driving licence is mandatory for this position.

Location: Site/Office based

Contract Type: Permanent Full-time, shift work

Compensation: Competitive salary ranging from £46,000 to £48,000 per annum, along with a company vehicle and additional benefits.

Key Responsibilities

As a Lighting Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring adherence to Health & Safety standards, leading by example and fostering a culture of safety among team members.
  • Conducting shift briefings, site inductions, and toolbox talks to effectively communicate risks and safety protocols.
  • Performing various audits, including Gatechecks and Safety Audits, to ensure compliance and safety in operations.
  • Monitoring workmanship and material usage, maintaining accurate records for all projects.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Lighting Operations Supervisor role will possess:

  • Experience in a supervisory capacity.
  • Relevant certifications such as SMSTS/SSSTS.
  • NRSWA operative or supervisory qualifications.
  • Familiarity with electrical works, specifically in street lighting.
