Job Title: Graphic Design Supervisor

Job Summary:

The University of Kent is seeking a highly skilled Graphic Design Supervisor to lead our design team and develop our design strategy. As a key member of our marketing operations, you will be responsible for creating compelling and innovative design solutions that elevate our brand and distinguish us from our competitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Manage the Design Team: Nurture a work environment that fosters creative thinking and implement processes to ensure the delivery of services meets customer expectations.
  • Graphic Design Assistant Management: Provide clear objectives and manage performance to ensure the Graphic Design Assistant is motivated and trained to carry out their responsibilities to the highest standards.
  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Work with staff and external agencies to ensure outsourced graphic solutions align with our policies and procedures.
  • Design Insight and Expertise: Provide specialist design insight on photography briefs and advise on creative direction for the organization.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Leading a design team and providing creative direction for an organization.
  • Technical Skills: Expert knowledge of Macintosh operating system and Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, and InDesign.
