Job Summary

CGR Services is seeking a highly skilled Building Controls System Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Facilities Management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the seamless operation of our building services, working closely with Trades Supervisors, trades staff, and specialist contractors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems to ensure efficient and effective operation.
  • Oversee electrical systems related to mechanical operations, general electrical needs, advanced automated lighting controls, and boiler systems.
  • Handle reticulated gases and refrigeration systems to ensure safe and reliable operation.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of our campus-wide building management system and associated engineering software.

Requirements

  • Recent experience programming building automation PLCs and a background in HVAC support, installation, maintenance, and engineering of building automation controls.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one or two of the following systems: programming and commissioning BMS controllers, programming operator user interfaces, Dali lighting controls.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with various trade groups within the Facilities Management team.
