About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Special Events Lead to join our team at Southampton FC. As a key member of our hospitality and events team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of special events at our stadium, including sales, marketing, and delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the sales and marketing of special events at our stadium, including setting targets and creating sales plans.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and profitability from special events.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders within the business to ensure department objectives and KPIs are met.
  • Manage the full events cycle from event idea to creation, sales, and delivery.
  • Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, colleagues, and promoters.
  • Review events and produce key learnings documents to improve future events.
Requirements
  • Educated to degree level, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience of working within the events industry, specifically on the curation and delivery of events.
  • Comfortable in dealing with budget control.
  • Experience in working with promoters within the music/entertainment industry.
  • Excellent communication skills both face-to-face and on the phone.
  • Management of large-scale events.
  • Experience in managing a small team selling and delivering events.
