About the Role

At Southampton Harbour Hotel, we are committed to providing exceptional hospitality and creating a vibrant working environment for our team. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sales & Event Coordinator to join our sales team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle event enquiries ranging from professional meetings to private functions and weddings.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients to ensure exceptional customer service.
  • Work closely with the sales team to achieve sales targets and revenue growth.
  • Provide administrative support to the sales team, including data entry and reporting.
  • Assist with event planning and coordination, including venue selection, catering, and audiovisual equipment.
Requirements
  • A warm and personable nature, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A can-do attitude and a proactive approach to work.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills, with attention to detail.
  • Previous hotel experience, preferably in sales or events.
  • Knowledge of Opera, although full training will be provided.
