About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Operations Manager to join our team at Sloane. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily housekeeping operations and ensuring exceptional guest service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily housekeeping operations to ensure exceptional guest service and uphold hotel standards.
- Mentor and develop new team members under your supervision.
- Conduct training sessions to ensure adherence to hotel policies, including health and safety protocols.
- Manage inventory, identify discrepancies, and order supplies as needed.
- Coordinate additional cleaning and maintenance tasks, including those handled by outside contractors.
- Provide daily reports to track deep cleaning schedules, external contractors' monthly schedules, and room maintenance issues.
- Support management in recruitment, performance reviews, scheduling, counselling, disciplinary actions, and staff coaching.
Requirements:
- Strong leadership abilities to effectively manage and inspire the team towards delivering exceptional service.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Flexible approach to working hours to accommodate business requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
