Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the implementation of the Mental Health Act, ensuring compliance with clinical policies and standards for service users.
  • Conduct audits to manage and assess the medical services, ensuring adherence to research-based clinical practices.
  • Collaborate with external partners to facilitate the transition of service users back into the community.
  • Lead multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and treatment plans.
  • Ensure the effective operation of the Care Programme Approach for all service users.
  • Participate in the evaluation of referrals to ensure appropriate admissions.
  • Contribute to the professional development and training of staff across various disciplines.
  • Engage in Clinical Governance activities to uphold service quality.
