Key Responsibilities- Team Leadership: Assist in managing a team of customer service administrators, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service delivery.
- Training and Development: Train new employees on company policies, procedures, and customer service best practices.
- Performance Management: Monitor and evaluate performance with the guidance of the customer service manager, providing coaching and feedback to improve performance and ensure high-quality customer interactions.
- Customer Service: Handle escalated customer inquiries or complaints in a professional and timely manner, collaborating with other departments to resolve complex customer issues.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
- Policies and Procedures: Assist in developing and implementing customer service policies and procedures.
- Additional Responsibilities: Perform all aspects of front-line customer service and other duties as required, including occasional assistance with the opening and closure of the business.
- Experience: Previous experience in an office or administrative supervisory role, with a strong knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
- Skills: Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills, proficiency in using computer systems, and demonstrated ability to assist and guide a team effectively.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and clerical skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- 35-Hour Week: A permanent position with a 35-hour workweek, allowing for a healthy work-life balance.
- Flexible Working Hours: A flexible working schedule, with the option to work occasional Saturdays and some flexibility required until 8 pm on occasion.
- Incremental Annual Bonus: An incremental annual bonus after 2, 3, and 4 years of service, with the potential to earn up to £32,000 in four years.
- Bank Holidays: Work on bank holidays (except Christmas Day and Boxing Day), with the option to use your 28 days of holiday whenever you like.
