Overview: The field of Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) is evolving within CMC Markets, and we are establishing a dedicated team within Procurement to thoroughly assess and mitigate the risks associated with our suppliers.

Role Summary: As a Vendor Risk Management Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in this initiative, working closely with key stakeholders throughout the organization to implement a comprehensive assurance and governance framework. This position presents a unique opportunity to influence the future of TPRM within our organization, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and internal policies while promoting a culture of risk awareness and mitigation on a global scale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth evaluations of potential and current third-party vendors to identify and assess associated risks.
  • Oversee the activities and performance of third parties to ensure ongoing compliance, escalating risk issues as necessary.
  • Implement and integrate the Third-Party Risk Management Framework effectively.
  • Manage the Third-Party Risk Database to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Deliver targeted training and awareness programs to support compliance with requirements.
  • Establish a system for identifying fourth- and fifth-party suppliers and maintain centralized records.
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of third-party information in the due diligence database.
  • Stay informed about regulatory changes to enhance the third-party risk and due diligence program.
  • Engage in personal and professional development to meet the evolving demands of the role, including relevant regulatory and legislative training.
  • Provide a clear, fair, and consistent high-quality service to all customers, clients, and colleagues, reflecting a professional image of CMC Markets.
  • Take all reasonable measures to ensure confidentiality.
  • Perform additional duties, training, and/or hours of work as may be reasonably required, consistent with the general level of responsibility of this role.

Key Skills and Experience:

Essential:

  • Experience in overseeing third-party risk.
  • Ability to document and monitor risks using standardized methodologies.
  • Knowledge of Procurement and Supplier Management.
  • Capability to build strong relationships and credibility with stakeholders beyond your immediate team.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Pragmatic and adaptable approach.

Desirable:

  • Experience in the Financial Services sector.
  • Knowledge and experience of operational resilience and global regulatory requirements.
  • Experience in conducting third-party risk assessments and reviewing external control and audit reports.
  • Familiarity with the OneTrust Vendor Risk Management Platform.
