The role of the Outsourcing Manager is pivotal, requiring a proactive approach to vendor management throughout the entire lifecycle. This includes responsibilities in Procurement, Outsourcing, and Third Party Risk Management, as well as overseeing critical vendor relationships. A successful candidate will enhance existing protocols, deliver training, and ensure robust monitoring of vendor interactions. This position is essential in defining the future of our vendor management function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a vendor management strategy that enhances operational efficiency and mitigates risks for business partners.
  • Stay informed about regulatory developments in our operating markets and recommend necessary adjustments to internal protocols.
  • Provide strategic oversight and guidance for all functions and personnel within the sourcing and contracting organization.
  • Define, maintain, and administer our third-party vendor management risk framework, driving continuous improvements in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor outsourcing risk mitigation efforts and generate relevant reports for management review.
  • Support the formulation and enhancement of Sourcing, Procurement, Outsourcing, and Vendor Management policies and procedures.
  • Ensure the maintenance of centralized contract management processes on a global scale.
  • Assess contingency plans and exit strategies as defined by the department, actively monitoring for any necessary actions.
  • Collaborate with department leadership to establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and key risk indicators (KRIs) for effective reporting.
  • Regularly evaluate departmental performance against established KPIs.

Qualifications for Success:

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Information Security, Economics, or Finance.
  • In-depth knowledge of outsourcing, third-party risk, and regulatory frameworks such as MaRisk and EBA Outsourcing.
  • Minimum of three years of professional experience in sourcing or procurement.
  • Familiarity with Netsuite and JIRA is advantageous.

Essential Skills:

  • Exceptional communication abilities, with a knack for problem-solving in dynamic environments.
  • Proficient in presenting findings clearly to stakeholders across various functions.
  • Confidence in enhancing existing processes.
  • Fluent in English, with the capability to collaborate effectively across time zones.
  • Experience managing significant contracts within regulated settings.
  • Knowledge of both ITO and BPO contracts, with a strong grasp of risk management in outsourcing.
  • Proven track record in establishing processes and controls to ensure a standardized approach to outsourcing and third-party management aligned with organizational risk strategies.
