Right at Home is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our esteemed homecare organization and assist in establishing our Complex Care division. The primary responsibilities will include training and mentoring CareGivers, developing educational materials, creating client support plans, and conducting assessments for client care.

As a Registered Nurse with Right at Home, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing the complex care segment of our operations. It is essential to be personable, as you will collaborate with the entire team to ensure that the needs of our valued clients are met. This position is fast-paced and requires a dedicated individual who can maintain a positive and professional demeanor under pressure.

There are no shifts, weekend work, or unsociable hours. You will not be required to work on bank holidays, and you can enjoy Christmas at home with your family. Additionally, you can take your birthday off.

Working Hours: 09:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday – Full-time or Part-time options available.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Promote the highest standards of nursing care within a homecare environment
  • Supervise and support CareGivers through effective leadership
  • Identify and address training needs of staff through evaluations and discussions
  • Develop and update client care plans in accordance with professional standards and company policies
  • Conduct ongoing compliance checks and risk assessments for Complex Care packages
  • Ensure all services adhere to relevant legislation and regulatory standards
  • Monitor client satisfaction and assess the quality of care provided
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the business, meeting targets and budgetary requirements
  • Support the organization in achieving high compliance ratings during inspections
  • Continuously review and enhance processes to deliver effective and efficient services
  • Exercise initiative and decision-making skills as appropriate
  • Build strong relationships with clients and their families to ensure personalized care

Requirements for the Registered Nurse:

  • Must be an experienced and actively registered nurse with a valid professional license and a minimum of 5 years of experience
  • Clinical leadership experience is essential
  • Experience working with elderly populations
  • Experience in community or primary care settings
  • Experience in training and educating others
  • Ability to create educational materials and training modules
  • Strong knowledge and clinical skills in essential nursing care tasks
  • Ability to adapt skills and knowledge to train and support Care Workers in a homecare setting
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, particularly in report writing and care planning
  • Highly organized with strong planning and prioritization abilities
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective professional relationships
  • A valid driving license and access to a reliable vehicle is preferred
