Right at Home Camden, Hampstead & Golders Green is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our esteemed homecare organization and assist in establishing our Complex Care division. The primary responsibilities will include training and mentoring CareGivers, developing training materials, creating client support plans, and conducting client care assessments.
As a Registered Nurse at Right at Home, you will play a vital role in leading and managing the complex care segment of our operations. Typical duties and responsibilities include:
- Promoting the highest standards of nursing care within a homecare environment
- Supervising and supporting CareGivers through effective leadership
- Identifying and addressing training needs through assessments and discussions
- Developing and updating client care plans in accordance with NMC standards and company policies
- Conducting ongoing compliance reviews for Complex Care packages
- Ensuring adherence to legislation, CQC standards, and regulations
- Monitoring and evaluating client satisfaction for Complex Care services
- Contributing to the growth and development of the business while meeting targets and budgetary constraints
- Ensuring compliance across the organization and supporting the achievement of 'Good' ratings in CQC inspections
- Continuously reviewing and enhancing processes for effective service delivery
- Exercising initiative and decision-making skills as appropriate
- Building strong relationships with clients and their families to deliver personalized care
Qualifications for a Registered Nurse:
- Active Registered Nurse with a valid NMC Pin Number and a minimum of 5 years' experience
- Essential clinical leadership experience
- Experience working with elderly populations
- Background in community and/or primary care settings
- Experience in teaching and training others
- Ability to create educational materials and training modules
- Strong knowledge and clinical skills in essential nursing care tasks
- Ability to adapt skills and knowledge for training Care Workers in homecare settings
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, particularly in report writing and care planning
- Highly organized with strong planning and prioritization abilities
- Ability to establish and maintain effective professional relationships
- Possession of a valid driving license and access to a reliable vehicle is preferred
