Job Title: Advanced Nurse Practitioner - Paediatric Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paediatric Nurse Manager to join our team at Leaders In Care Recruitment Ltd. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a well-established and progressive provider of complex care packages within the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver tailored care plans specific to individual clients' needs, taking into account their physical and physiological requirements.
  • Effectively manage the multidisciplinary team through strong communication and teamwork, ensuring seamless delivery of care services.
  • Provide ongoing monitoring, support, and assessment of clients' needs, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
  • Deliver nursing interventions, including the management of medication delivery, to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients' families, providing emotional support and guidance as needed.
  • Work closely with community teams, CHC nurses, and CCG commissioners to establish and maintain bespoke packages of care, ensuring alignment with client needs and goals.

Requirements:

  • RSCN with a minimum of 6 months' experience in the UK and an active NMC PIN.
  • Supportive management style that can bring out the best in others, with a focus on leadership and team development.
  • Up-to-date experience of tracheostomy care and ventilators within the last 2 years.
  • Advanced communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively liaise with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team.
  • Suitable for Band 5/Band 6 Nurses with evidence of effective leadership and management of HCAs.
  • Full UK driving license desirable but not essential.
