Qualifications & Professional Credentials

Essential Requirements

  • Registered General Nurse
  • Relevant First Degree
  • Master's Degree in Surgical Care Practice (Qualified Surgical Care Specialist)
  • Teaching certification or extensive teaching experience
  • Advanced assessment qualification (OSCE)
  • Advanced communication skills training
  • Evidence of recent professional, management, or leadership development
  • Basic Surgical Skills (RCS course)
  • First Surgical Assistant Course (Intuitive-Da Vinci)

Desirable Qualifications

  • Non-medical prescribing course or willingness to undertake
  • Intravesical chemotherapy (mitomycin) administration course or willingness to undertake
