Position Overview
We are pleased to announce a rewarding opportunity within our Central Referral Unit for a motivated individual to become part of our administrative and call handling team, dedicated to supporting clinical operations. The Central Referral Unit plays a crucial role in facilitating care for individuals requiring urgent and scheduled community health services.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing incoming calls from healthcare professionals and will play a key role in gathering essential information to assist our clinical teams. A friendly demeanor, strong IT capabilities, and a proactive attitude are essential. Our unit operates seven days a week from 08:00 to 18:00, offering a variety of shifts to accommodate flexible working arrangements.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for all services within the designated locality.
- Respond to and manage all telephone inquiries from healthcare professionals, service users, and caregivers in a polite, professional, and confident manner, directing them as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records, both manually and electronically, for all service referrals.
- Interact directly with patients and caregivers while adhering to relevant service guidelines.
