About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our CAMHS team at Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality specialist clinical assessments and treatment plans for children and young people with mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist clinical assessments, including psychiatric and physical investigations, to children and young people in a range of settings.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to plan and deliver individually tailored treatment plans.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the service's participation strategy, involving patients and their carers in service decision-making and planning.
Requirements
  • MB BS or equivalent medical qualification.
  • Fully registered with the GMC with a licence to practise at the time of appointment.
  • Included on the GMC Specialist Register OR within six months.
  • Approved clinician status OR able to achieve within 3 months of appointment.
