Business Development Manager - Maternity Leave Cover

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at West One Loans. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for creating and managing relationships with intermediaries in your allocated region, promoting our products and services to new and lapsed businesses, and handling key account management.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and maintain relationships with introducers to achieve new business targets.
  2. Support Business Development Managers with mortgage and loan case management for broker partners and accounts.
  3. Identify and recommend new firms to work with regional Business Development Managers.
  4. Ensure accurate and up-to-date reporting and CRM system records.
  5. Proactively contact potential new brokers for introductory business.
  6. Keep intermediaries informed about new products and features.
  7. Handle new business enquiries and speak with introducers.
  8. Pass internal competency tests post-induction.
  9. Ability to multitask and meet SLAs.
  10. Confidence to pursue leads and overcome objections.
  11. Excellent call handling, listening, and influencing skills.
Requirements
  1. Previous experience in a sales role is highly desirable.
  2. Ability to build strong relationships.
  3. Literacy with a good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

  2. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  3. Proactive team player with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
