Pertemps is seeking a Part-Time Administrator to support our client in South Bristol.

This role offers the opportunity to work within a friendly and established team, contributing to the smooth operation of their accounting practice.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide accurate and efficient typing services for letters, invoices, and other documents.
  • Manage company secretarial tasks, including setting up new companies, filing required forms, and handling director changes.
  • Maintain both paper and electronic document filing systems, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Create and update client records, databases, and ensure data accuracy.
  • Assist with account updates and tax return management.
  • Conduct credit control activities and send statements to clients.
  • Handle banking transactions and manage email correspondence promptly.
  • Provide administrative support, including photocopying, scanning, and preparing client files.
  • Answer incoming calls, take messages, and direct inquiries appropriately.
  • Schedule appointments using the online diary system.
  • Maintain a well-organized filing system and update reminder systems.
  • Greet clients and provide refreshments as needed.
  • Order stationery and office supplies.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a secretary or receptionist, ideally within an accounting environment.
  • Excellent typing skills in Word and proficiency in Excel.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy when handling documents and data.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to provide outstanding customer service.
  • Professional and positive attitude with a flexible approach to work.
  • Proficiency in using office equipment, including computers, printers, scanners, and franking machines.
