About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join our team at Churchill Retirement Living Ltd. in the Midlands region. As a key member of our site management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction cycle of our development in Kings Norton, ensuring all deadlines are met and the development is built to Company and NHBC standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Site Manager in managing all aspects of the building site, including health and safety issues, trades and material coordination, site presentation, and cost control.
  • Assist in managing site operations, including supervising site staff, coordinating with external suppliers, and ensuring compliance with Company and regulatory standards.
  • Contribute to the development of site plans, schedules, and budgets, and ensure effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the Site Manager to identify and mitigate potential risks, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of site progress, issues, and concerns to the Site Manager and other stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Relevant previous site experience gained building Residential Apartments and New Homes.
  • Qualified First Aider at Work and may have progressed from a trade background.
  • CSCS Card and NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Site Management, preferably on the NHBC Site Manager Accreditation programme.
  • Assertive and calm under pressure, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid UK driver's license.
