Payroll Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Administrator to join our Payroll and Shared Services team at our Spalding site. As a Payroll Administrator, you will provide comprehensive and accurate administrative support services covering the employee lifecycle process in a timely manner and in accordance with employment legislation and Company policy and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Administer the Payroll in-box and respond to payroll queries in a timely manner.
- Assist in processing monthly and weekly payrolls, including calculation and accurate input of weekly and monthly timesheets.
- Ensure accurate calculation and recording of absence and attendance records, contractual and statutory payments, and statutory and third-party deductions.
- Administer weekly and monthly pension communications and prepare payslips for distribution.
- Generate and distribute payroll-related reports using payroll systems, Excel, and Pivot Tables.
- Communicate overpayments of pay and assist with debt recovery.
- Collaborate with the HRSS team to provide a professional, effective, and efficient service to colleagues.
- Work with the Payroll Shared Services Manager to maintain the OVOTT and ensure alignment with contracts of employment and changes to terms and conditions.
- Perform general administrative duties as required.
- Experience working in a high-volume payroll environment, with knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently, with attention to detail and a high level of organization.
- Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing circumstances and new processes.
- Knowledge and understanding of confidentiality requirements.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and activities, with a high level of multi-tasking and time management.
