Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Payroll Administrator to join our Payroll and Shared Services team at our Spalding site. As a Payroll Administrator, you will provide comprehensive administrative support services covering the employee lifecycle process in a timely manner and in accordance with employment legislation and Company policy and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer the Payroll in-box and respond to payroll queries in a timely manner.
  • Assist in processing monthly and weekly payrolls, including calculation and accurate input of timesheets.
  • Ensure accurate calculation and recording of absence and attendance records, contractual and statutory payments, and statutory deductions.
  • Set up statutory and third-party deductions within the payroll system.
  • Administer pension communications and prepare payslips for distribution.
  • Generate and distribute payroll-related reports using payroll systems, Excel, and Pivot Tables.
  • Communicate overpayments of pay and assist with debt recovery.
  • Collaborate with the HRSS team to provide a professional, effective, and efficient service to colleagues.
  • Work with the Payroll Shared Services Manager to maintain the OVOTT and ensure alignment with contracts and terms of employment.
Requirements
  • Experience working in a high-volume payroll environment.
  • Knowledge of Excel, including Pivot Tables, and experience with IT packages relevant to payroll systems.
  • Flexibility, thoroughness, and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge and understanding of confidentiality requirements.
  • Highly organized with ability to prioritize and multitask.
