About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Family and Systemic Psychotherapist to join our Winchester and Test Valley CAMHS team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality Family and Systemic Psychotherapy services to individuals, carers, families, and groups.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Family and Systemic Psychotherapy services to clients with complex mental health needs.
  • Hold and manage a clinical caseload, exercising autonomous professional responsibility for the planning and prioritizing of own workload.
  • Supervise Family and Systemic Psychotherapists, Trainee Family and Systemic Psychotherapists, and other staff as appropriate.
  • Provide Systemic Consultation to other team members and professionals working with service users.
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary team working, development, and liaison.

Person Specification
  • AFT accredited postgraduate qualification in Family and Systemic Psychotherapy (or equivalent).
  • Registration in Family and Systemic Psychotherapy with the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP).
  • Recognised qualification in one of the core mental health professions recognized by the Association of Family Therapy (AFT).
  • Evidence of relevant continuing professional development.
  • Evidence of post-qualification training in clinical supervision.
