Surgical Specialist Dietitian Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Dietitian to join our team at Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust. As a Surgical Specialist Dietitian, you will play a critical role in providing expert dietetic advice and support to children, young people, and families affected by eating disorders.
Main Responsibilities- Deliver specialist dietetic advice and support to patients and families with complex eating disorders
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement holistic care plans
- Conduct clinical assessments, including risk assessments, to inform treatment decisions
- Provide training and education to staff, service users, and carers on diet and nutritional issues
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with individuals, families, and carers to ensure high-quality care
- Registered Dietitian with current registration in mental health or learning disabilities
- Significant post-qualifying experience in the relevant care group
- Experience of working with complex health problems and supervising staff
- Ability to develop good therapeutic relationships and communicate effectively with diverse groups
