Position: Medical Staffing and Education Assistant

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our Medical Staffing and Education Team. Key responsibilities include providing expert medical HR services for postgraduate doctors in training, maintaining rotational processes, and advising on all aspects of doctors and dentists in training terms and conditions.

Main Duties:

  • Offer specialist advice to medical trainees and clinical leads on HR-related matters
  • Maintain high standards in line with trust policies and procedures
  • Provide guidance on medical and dental terms and conditions, ensuring compliance and adherence
  • Deliver timely and accurate services, meeting the needs of our medical staff

Qualifications:

Essential:

  • GCSEs Grade C or above in Maths and English
  • A Level/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant field

Desirable:

  • Certificate in Personnel Practice or a related field
  • Evidence of continued professional development and training
  • GCSE grade 5 or above in IT and computer skills

Experience:

Essential:

  • Work experience in administration in healthcare or education, with a focus on medical HR services
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
  • Good working knowledge of internet navigation and research
  • Experience with sensitive data processing and confidentiality

Skills:

Essential:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with medical staff
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality services
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively
  • Advanced keyboard skills and proficiency in typing
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects
