Role Responsibilities:
- Oversee all commercial and operational functions of the venue, focusing on racing and events.
- Maximize profitability through effective management of income, payroll, and expenditure.
- Foster a customer-centric culture that prioritizes service excellence.
- Collaborate with Regional Directors and HR to strategize business planning and enhance team morale.
- Develop and execute the annual financial plan, adjusting strategies based on performance metrics.
- Identify and capitalize on sales opportunities in collaboration with the sales and marketing teams.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including customers, sponsors, and industry partners.
- Ensure compliance with racing industry regulations and implement best practices.
- Act as a representative for the venue, promoting its reputation and integrity.
- Contribute to company policies and participate in relevant projects and initiatives.
- Drive innovation within the venue, proposing strategies that distinguish us from competitors.
- Recruit and manage a team to fulfill the venue's operational and financial objectives.
- Encourage adaptive working practices to meet business demands.
- Supervise the Clerk of the Course in managing racing operations.
- Ensure optimal racing conditions and facilities for all participants.
- Oversee the catering plan, ensuring financial and operational targets are met.
