Role Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all commercial and operational functions of the venue, focusing on racing and events.
  • Maximize profitability through effective management of income, payroll, and expenditure.
  • Foster a customer-centric culture that prioritizes service excellence.
  • Collaborate with Regional Directors and HR to strategize business planning and enhance team morale.
  • Develop and execute the annual financial plan, adjusting strategies based on performance metrics.
  • Identify and capitalize on sales opportunities in collaboration with the sales and marketing teams.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including customers, sponsors, and industry partners.
  • Ensure compliance with racing industry regulations and implement best practices.
  • Act as a representative for the venue, promoting its reputation and integrity.
  • Contribute to company policies and participate in relevant projects and initiatives.
  • Drive innovation within the venue, proposing strategies that distinguish us from competitors.
  • Recruit and manage a team to fulfill the venue's operational and financial objectives.
  • Encourage adaptive working practices to meet business demands.
  • Supervise the Clerk of the Course in managing racing operations.
  • Ensure optimal racing conditions and facilities for all participants.
  • Oversee the catering plan, ensuring financial and operational targets are met.
