Job Title: Assistant Head of Technical Operations

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Assistant Head of Technical Operations. This is a unique opportunity to work with a global executive search and recruitment consultancy that specializes in the Maritime and Renewable Energy sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Technical Superintendent in the day-to-day activities of ship management, providing crucial support and ensuring smooth operations.
  • Provide engineering advice to support the Technical Superintendent in maintaining vessel performance.
  • Assist with clerical tasks and administrative roles related to ship management.
  • Coordinate with ship crews to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Aid in the planning and execution of dry-docking and other major repair activities.

Requirements:

  • Qualified with a degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related field.
  • Experienced with at least 2 years in ship management or a similar technical role in the maritime industry.
  • Proficient in using ship management software and familiar with industry regulations.
  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
