Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Operations Assistant to join our team at Executive Integrity. As a key member of our maritime operations team, you will provide critical support to our Technical Superintendent in maintaining vessel performance and ensuring smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Engineering Advice: Assist the Technical Superintendent in maintaining vessel performance by providing expert engineering advice and guidance.
  • Clerical and Administrative Support: Assist with clerical tasks and administrative roles related to ship management, including data entry, record-keeping, and reporting.
  • Maintenance and Repair Coordination: Monitor and report on vessel maintenance and repair activities, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Ship Crew Coordination: Coordinate with ship crews to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and to facilitate smooth vessel operations.
  • Technical Documentation: Support in preparing and maintaining technical documentation, including vessel performance reports and maintenance records.
  • Budget Preparation and Cost Control: Assist in preparing and maintaining budgets for vessel operations, and ensure cost control measures are in place.
  • Project Planning and Execution: Aid in the planning and execution of dry-docking and other major repair activities, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Qualified with a degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related field.
  • Experience: Experienced with at least 2 years in ship management or a similar technical role in the maritime industry.
  • Skills: Proficient in using ship management software and familiar with industry regulations, with strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Personal Qualities: Motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
