Job Title: Senior QA Specialist

Apptad Inc is seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing testing efforts for large systems in Graphical User Interface (GUI) and non-Graphical User Interface (GUI) environments.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute test plans, test scripts, and test cases to ensure the quality of our software applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, project management, and IT, to identify and prioritize testing efforts.
  • Design and implement automated testing tools and scripts to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members and other stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve testing methodologies and tools.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on quality assurance and testing methodologies.
  • 5+ years of experience testing Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) applications.
  • Experience with Oracle Siebel CRM application is a strong asset.
  • Experience working on Siebel Test Automation is an asset.
  • Experience testing Adobe AEM is an asset.
  • Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) concepts and PM methodologies like Agile and Waterfall.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with defect tracking tools like Jira/Azure DevOps.
  • Strong understanding of defect management life cycle.
  • Ability to write and understand SQL.
  • Ability to understand data models.
  • Ability to understand Java and JavaScript.
