Job Description

Key Responsibilities: The Senior QA Testing Specialist will provide strategic guidance on testing methodologies, develop comprehensive test plans, and select appropriate testing tools. This role involves organizing and executing testing efforts for extensive systems across both Graphical User Interface (GUI) and non-GUI environments. Responsibilities include conducting systems integration tests, specialized tests, and user acceptance testing (UAT). The specialist will collaborate with project leads and team members to analyze, design, develop, implement, and support the necessary systems.

General Skills: The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in planning, organizing, and executing testing initiatives. Familiarity with structured methodologies for application development, design, implementation, and maintenance is essential. Proficiency in Computer Aided Software Engineering (CASE) tools and data query tools is required to facilitate the creation of test cases. Experience with automated testing tools and version control systems is also necessary. The candidate should have a strong understanding of quality assurance principles, practices, and methodologies.

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance testing.
  • At least 5 years of experience testing Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) applications.
  • Experience with Oracle Siebel CRM applications is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Siebel Test Automation and Adobe AEM is an asset.

Technical Proficiencies:

  • Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
  • Strong understanding of the defect management lifecycle.
  • Ability to document test cases and execution plans effectively.
  • Experience with automation tools (both GUI and API) is advantageous.

Public Sector Experience:

  • Experience with Siebel modules related to Public Sector CRM and Case Management is a plus.

MUST HAVES:

  • 8 years of experience as a Software QA Tester.
  • 5 years of experience with COTS applications.
  • Experience with Oracle Siebel CRM applications.
