Position Overview:The Senior Project Manager at Apptad Inc is responsible for overseeing and directing project initiatives to ensure successful delivery and alignment with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:- Project Planning: Formulate comprehensive project plans and secure necessary approvals.
- Work Package Management: Create and oversee the designated work package within the broader project framework, ensuring all components, documentation, and reports are meticulously managed.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Manage the expectations of senior executives and various stakeholders effectively.
- Committee Participation: Actively engage in steering committee meetings and stakeholder forums.
- Reporting: Deliver project and portfolio updates to multiple stakeholders at senior executive levels.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues related to the assigned work package, report them to the Project Champions and Portfolio Team, and devise strategies for mitigation.
- Vendor Collaboration: Work alongside vendors to negotiate and finalize mutually beneficial multi-year contracts for ongoing maintenance and support of technology.
- Business Case Development: Ensure the formulation and presentation of business cases to secure approval for long-term support and maintenance agreements.
- Public Safety Coordination: Align project plans with Public Safety Operations to avoid any negative impact on public safety initiatives.
- Project Management: Oversee multiple concurrent projects in accordance with Public Sector I&IT Standards.
- Business Analysis: Create detailed business analysis documents that outline challenges, opportunities, and solutions for the organization.
- Project Execution: Develop, manage, and implement project charters, integrated project plans, schedules, and communication strategies.
- Financial Oversight: Handle budgeting and forecasting responsibilities.
- Issue and Risk Mitigation: Manage and mitigate issues and risks throughout the project lifecycle.
