Position Overview:

The Senior Project Manager at Apptad Inc is responsible for overseeing and directing project initiatives to ensure successful delivery and alignment with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning: Formulate comprehensive project plans and work packages, securing necessary approvals.
  • Work Package Management: Oversee the assigned work package within the broader project framework, ensuring all components, documentation, and reporting are meticulously managed.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Manage the expectations of senior executives and key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Committee Participation: Actively engage in steering committee meetings and stakeholder forums to provide updates and gather feedback.
  • Reporting: Deliver project and portfolio reports to various stakeholders, particularly at the senior executive level.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues related to the assigned work package, reporting them to Project Champions and the Portfolio Team, while developing strategies for mitigation.
  • Vendor Collaboration: Work closely with vendors to negotiate and finalize multi-year contracts for ongoing support and maintenance of technology solutions.
  • Business Case Development: Lead the creation and presentation of business cases to secure approval for long-term support and maintenance agreements.
  • Public Safety Coordination: Align project plans with Public Safety Operations to ensure no negative impact on public safety services.
  • Project Management: Handle multiple concurrent projects in accordance with Public Sector I&IT Standards.
  • Business Analysis: Produce detailed business analysis documents that identify problems, opportunities, and solutions.
  • Project Execution: Develop, manage, and implement project charters, integrated project plans, schedules, and communication strategies.
  • Financial Oversight: Conduct budgeting and forecasting activities to ensure financial accountability.
  • Issue and Risk Mitigation: Proactively manage issues and risks, implementing effective mitigation strategies.
