About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software QA Tester to join our team at Apptad Inc. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality of our software products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies to identify and report defects in software applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development and product management, to ensure seamless integration of testing efforts
  • Design and implement automated testing frameworks to improve testing efficiency and accuracy
  • Provide expert-level guidance on testing methodologies, tools, and best practices to team members
  • Contribute to the development of testing strategies, test plans, and test cases to ensure comprehensive coverage of software applications
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on quality assurance and testing methodologies
  • 5+ years of experience testing commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) applications
  • Experience with testing Oracle Siebel CRM applications is a strong asset
  • Experience working on Siebel test automation is an asset
  • Experience testing Adobe AEM is an asset
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) concepts and PM methodologies like Agile and Waterfall
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with defect tracking tools like Jira/Azure DevOps
  • Strong understanding of defect management life cycle
  • Ability to write and understand SQL
  • Ability to understand data models
  • Ability to understand Java and JavaScript
