About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Apptad Inc. As a key member of our QA team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of our software products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies to identify and report defects
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement testing plans
  • Provide expert-level guidance on testing methodologies, tools, and best practices
  • Lead and mentor junior QA team members to ensure knowledge sharing and skill development
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and methodologies to continuously improve testing processes
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on testing and quality assurance
  • 5+ years of experience testing commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) applications
  • Experience with Oracle Siebel CRM, Siebel Test Automation, and Adobe AEM is highly desirable
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycles, including Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with defect tracking tools like Jira or Azure DevOps
  • Working knowledge of QMetry and automation tools (GUI and API)
  • Ability to write and understand SQL, as well as data models and Java/Javascript
  • Public sector experience with Siebel modules, such as Public Sector CRM, Contracts, and Lead Management
