Position: Child and Youth Wellbeing Facilitator

  • Term Time Only - 40 weeks annually
  • Full-time role (37 hours per week during term time)
  • Location: Maidstone, Kent

We are seeking a dedicated Child and Youth Wellbeing Facilitator to enhance our growing service team. In this role, you will engage with children and young individuals (CYP) across Key Stages 1-4, providing essential one-on-one support and facilitating educational and wellbeing initiatives for those who are vulnerable.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting tailored sessions in diverse settings throughout Kent
  • Assisting children facing emotional and behavioral challenges
  • Guiding CYP in understanding and managing their emotions and behaviors
  • Fostering resilience and self-esteem among learners
  • Effectively communicating both verbally and through written documentation

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who are compassionate and committed to positively influencing the lives of vulnerable learners. Personal resilience is essential, as you may encounter challenging behaviors; however, each day presents new opportunities to support and uplift your students.

Professional Development: Continuous Professional Development (CPD) opportunities are available, including specialized training on Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

This position requires a Full UK Driving Licence, though accommodations can be arranged for candidates with disabilities that hinder driving. An Enhanced Disclosure Application to the Disclosure and Barring Service is necessary for this role.
