We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Trainee Children Wellbeing Practitioner. As a key member of our Children's Mental Health Support Team, you will play a vital role in providing low-intensity interventions to children and young people in educational settings and clinics.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver evidence-based interventions for children and young people with mild to moderate mental health problems.
- Help children and young people to rapidly access more specialist services when needed.
- Support and facilitate professionals in different settings to identify and manage issues related to mental health and wellbeing.
- Low Intensity CBT qualification.
- Experience working with children.
- Knowledge of the education system in the UK.
- Knowledge of children and young people gained through academic study in child development, child wellbeing, or mental health.
As a Trainee Children Wellbeing Practitioner with NELFT, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse population of children and young people, and to develop your skills and knowledge in a supportive and collaborative environment. You will also have access to comprehensive training and development opportunities, and will be supported by a team of experienced professionals.
Person Specification- Essential:
- Low Intensity CBT qualification.
- Experience working with children.
- Desirable:
- Child development qualification.
- Relevant mental health experience.
- 18 months plus paid employment working with children.
