About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Development Officer to join our team at Sja's West. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in engaging with new and diverse communities, recruiting new adult volunteers, and promoting our youth programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support local volunteer teams in developing project plans that promote successful and sustainable growth within their local areas
  • Plan, facilitate, and deliver forums and working groups to ensure engagement with young people and/or volunteers in all activities
  • Develop, maintain, and review partnerships and networks within target areas to identify and pursue opportunities for expanding Sja's West's work with young people
  • Consult with young people, internal and external to Sja's West, to promote youth voice at all levels of decision making
  • Proactively seek to recruit new adult volunteers and young people by undertaking recruitment activities

About You

We are looking for someone with experience of working with young people, volunteers, and community development. You should have a proven track record of managing projects within a set geography and inputting into a project budget.
