The role of the Work Experience Coordinator encompasses the design, execution, and management of work experience initiatives for students aged 16-19 with diverse needs. Key responsibilities include identifying suitable work placements that align with each student's career aspirations, fostering and maintaining partnerships with placement organizations, and guiding students in securing and sustaining their placements. Collaboration with families and various professionals is vital to ensure comprehensive support for all student requirements. Monitoring student progress following their transition from college and maintaining accurate records are also critical components of this position.As the Work Experience Coordinator, you will work closely with the college team to ensure that work placements effectively contribute to student learning and personal development. Adhering to established policies and procedures in daily operations is essential, with accountability to the Head of Heath Farm College.
