Our collaboration with Train builders, Operators, and Owners ensures a seamless port-to-port service for all onboard train systems, including hydrostatic, coolant, fuel, water, and air systems.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a motivated individual to bolster the Rail Divisional Sales Team within Tidyco Ltd, which is currently experiencing significant activity.

Your initial role will focus on internal support, where you will assist in managing customer order books and reviewing contracts before they are entered into our system. Over time, this position will evolve into full customer account management responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Administrative Duties:

  • Overseeing system-generated reports using Access and Sage software
  • Creating and managing quotations
  • Coordinating scheduled orders
  • Updating order books for clients
  • Addressing customer inquiries via email and phone
  • Preparing quotations for workshop repairs in collaboration with the production planner
  • Communicating with suppliers and expediting purchase orders
  • Maintaining customer pricing files and discounts to optimize margins

Support for Rail Division Team:

  • Assisting with customer projects
  • Inputting bill of materials and related data
  • Obtaining material and supplier quotations
  • Entering part information accurately
  • Keeping precise records
  • Preparing internal and external reports, including HSE documentation
  • Generating reports and KPI graphs

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Providing assistance to customer service, accounts, and purchasing departments
  • Facilitating communication between departments

A company pool vehicle will be available for customer visits as necessary.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Familiarity with the Rail Industry and knowledge of Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems is advantageous but not mandatory
  • Effective communication skills with colleagues, customers, and visitors
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Proficient in drafting reports, emails, and related documentation
  • Commercial awareness
  • Good IT skills and a willingness to learn
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Effective prioritization of workload
  • Punctuality
