Business Development Manager

Global Underwater Hub is a pioneering organization that aims to transform the UK's underwater industry into a thriving sector. We are seeking a highly skilled Business & Partnerships Coordinator to join our team in Bristol.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the development of new member prospects and foster valued relationships with existing members to drive membership retention.
- Provide exceptional front-of-house services, including welcoming and directing visitors, managing the Hub diary, and ensuring the security of the building during office hours.
- Ensure the smooth operation of the office and provide administrative support to the team as needed.
- Develop and plan industry networking events, membership workshops, and regional advisory group meetings.
- Lead on office-related remedial tasks, including repairs, site audits, and maintenance.
- Assist with Health and Safety matters, including office logistics and HSE inductions for new starters.
- Manage contracts for general office maintenance and document control.
- Local induction responsibilities include custodian of the Office Logistics and HSE induction process, supporting HR Manager with local HR inductions, and maintaining a clean and tidy office and kitchen facility.
- Degree-level or equivalent experience in business support, administration, or relationship management.
- Experience in events planning, managing partners, and service providers.
- Demonstrable knowledge and experience of IT systems, Records & Document Management Systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Exposure to underwater business environments.
- Experience in marketing & communications/event planning.
- Confident, friendly, and professional corporate image when representing GUH in the office and while working away from the office.
